Seasonal gates open at 9 a.m. weekdays and 8:30 a.m. weekends/holidays; gates close at sunset.
Getting there & parking
Small gravel parking lot; spaces can fill early.
Fees
Seasonal beach parking fee; day and season passes are available.
Pets
Pets are prohibited on state bathing beaches April 1–September 30, except service animals.

Before setting up

  • Beach facilities and lifeguards are seasonal; plan for reduced amenities after Labor Day.
  • Use designated dune crossings and keep equipment out of swimming areas.
  • Campground is for self-contained RVs; no tent or pop-up camping. Day-use beach and campground are separate areas.
