Seasonal orange required
Second Saturday in September through the last day of February, and third Saturday in April through the last day of May.
East Beach/Ninigret Conservation Area is a designated undeveloped state park. Wear at least 200 square inches of solid daylight fluorescent orange above the waist, visible from all directions; 500 square inches during shotgun deer season.

- Seasonal gates open at 9 a.m. weekdays and 8:30 a.m. weekends/holidays; gates close at sunset.
- Getting there & parking
- Small gravel parking lot; spaces can fill early.
- Fees
- Seasonal beach parking fee; day and season passes are available.
- Pets
- Pets are prohibited on state bathing beaches April 1–September 30, except service animals.
Before setting up
- Beach facilities and lifeguards are seasonal; plan for reduced amenities after Labor Day.
- Use designated dune crossings and keep equipment out of swimming areas.
- Sand-trail vehicle access needs a barrier beach permit. Campsites require a self-contained 4WD vehicle; no utility hookups.
